Summer Job Opportunities for Teens!
The Studio is interviewing for summer camp assistants. We
are looking for Studio East-trained teens with advanced theater experience, such as YAPI,
who love to work with large numbers of children. Applicants for paid positions must be at
least 15 years old and able to work at a diff erent Eastside location every one or two weeks.
Positions include assistants for the Studio’s Summer Stage!, TaleSpinners and Little Players
camps. Work Study and volunteer opportunities are also available for students under the
age of 15. For more information or to schedule an interview call Lani at 425-827-3123.
Oh! The Places We’ll Go!
If you’ve visited the Studio lately, you know how crowded and cramped we are. Well not
for long! We’ve found a great new space in north Kirkland with over 13,000 square feet of
beautiful studio, lobby, tech, office and theater space! In January we will begin the process
of converting the warehouse and retail store into a gorgeous, bigger-than-life new home.
Kirkland architects Galen Page and Lee Beard have been working with us to make our dream
a reality, as you can see from their drawings. If you’d like more information or would like to
be a part of this exciting venture, sign up to receive our e-newsletter. We’re going to need lots of help in many areas! If you would like to donate time, materials, money or a Chihuly for our lobby, please get in touch with us!
