Summer Stage camps are designed to provide a gateway to the art and craft of theater. Guided by professional theater instructors, students are immersed in many aspects of theater – auditions (without the worry, since everyone gets a part), learning lines and music, rehearsing blocking and choreography, working together as a team and having a blast! Theater is a team sport, and participating in a musical theater production gives each actor a chance to play an important role. In addition to rehearsing the show, campers learn important theater skills and terms through focused workshops and theater games. Camps conclude with performances for family and friends on the final Friday.
